My cuz, Jess!

For Thanksgiving this year my cousin Jessica had a week off of work. I talked her into coming up to visit from Arizona and she agreed. YAY! I hadn't seen her in a year and a half and she'd never met the girls before. It was perfect. She's a foster mom of FOUR little boys ranging in age from 2-5. I was a little intimidated about having them over as well but I was excited to meet them. She's amazing. She works full time, and is also getting her doctorate degree. I'm not sure how she does it either. Seeing the EIGHT of us in public was a sight to see. Me with my twin girls and her four little boys. We went shopping at Buybuybaby, Ikea, Deseret Book, went to the park, etc... The hardest part of the day was quietly entertaining the boys during the girls morning nap. The most magical part of the day was during the afternoon when all the kids took naps at the same time and left time for us to hang out. I loved having her come to visit. Thanks for coming Jessica! Come back ANYTIME!!!

Temple night

Thanks to grandma and grandpa Syme, Chuck and I were able to do a session in the temple. Not any temple. The Provo temple. I worked there for three years. It was my temple for the last of my single years. It may not be that pretty on the outside but I love it. I don't think I'd been back to that temple since Chuck and I got married almost six years ago. It was so weird to be back. It didn't feel as familiar as it used to especially since they'd done a lot of work on the inside. It's beautiful and I LOVED being back there. I was a temple worker for a total of six years (also working in Jordan River and Oquirrh Mountain) after getting married. Once I got into the choir I had to stop. I loved being a temple worker so much and it brought back so many happy memories! Going on November 2nd was also a cool experience. My uncle Tim passed away a little over a year ago. That day in Arizona my Uncle Pat did his work for him. Some of my family members made a point to go to different temples that day to be a part of it. I love my family and I love that the temple ordinances allow us to be together forever! It was also the first time since they'd changed the endowment. I LOVED it. What an amazing night!

Bath time fun

My sweet babies LOVE bath time. They jump at the word "bath" and get SO excited. They're so excited that wasting anytime getting in the bath like getting undressed is frustrating. They love taking baths together and splashing. I think we're in for a lot of good times in the bathtub. LOVE these babies!!!

Babies first FORT

Can it be called a fort if there's no top?
One of the girls favorite activities is playing on the pillows and looking outside on the couch. It's easier to let them play on the couch when Chuck and I are both home to sit on either side to make sure they don't fall off. One day when Chuck wasn't home I had an idea to push the couch together. Pillows everywhere plus safer equals more fun for the girls and a less scary time for mom. Yay! They loved it! These cute girls are my FAVORITE!
